Main research interests

Dr. Brady’s research is in the area of multi-modality cardiovascular imaging using structural (MR and CT) and functional (nuclear, PET, MR) techniques.  These include: 1) the development of novel cardiac MR approaches including MR angiography, MR antibody imaging of myocardial infarction and susceptibility MR myocardial perfusion imaging; 2) outcomes assessment of cardiac imaging; 3) cardiac CT for the detection of coronary stenosis, utility in the emergency room setting and stress CT imaging; and 4) cardiovascular FDG PET imaging for the detection of atheriosclerotic plaque and monitoring therapy.
