Main research interests

Our group works with healthy individuals and patient populations with a specific focus on structural and functional brain abnormalities in aging and neurodegenerative dementias. Through this work, our group aims to improve understanding of brain-behavior relationships related to cognition, affect, and social function, with the hope that this will be useful for improved diagnosis and monitoring of patients with these disorders, with the ultimate goal of better treatments.

Interest with regard to MR-PET

MR-PET would be of great potential value for integrating the measures mentioned above in an efficient fashion for patient-oriented research and clinical care.
