Main research interests

Multimodal functional and molecular imaging in neurodegenerative disorders with regard to early and specific diagnosis, therapy monitoring, association with other biomarkers (e.g. genotype), and identification of compensatory mechanisms. Small animal imaging for translational molecular imaging research and tracer development in neuroscience.

Interest with regard to MR-PET

Application of MR-PET in neuroscience, spatial and temporal interrelation of multimodal brain imaging findings in the healthy and diseased brain.
