Main research interests

My research interests are focused on the development of novel MRI methods and contrast agents for molecular imaging and the application of these methods to the study of brain tumors and Alzheimer's Disease (AD). In particular, we are currently  developing novel MRI biomarkers for assessing the response of brain tumors to anti-angiogenic therapies and developing novel contrast agents for imaging amyloid plaques and arc gene expression, a potential early biomarker of AD.

Interest with regard to MR-PET

Many of the contrast agents under development are designed to be multimodal imaging probes that can be imaged using MRI, PET or optical imaging modalities.
