This section is concerned with general orientation to and getting started with the computer systems at the Center. By "Computer Systems" we mean the UNIX-based systems that are used for data acquisition and the UNIX/linux based systems used for data analysis. Support is available for PC and Mac-based systems that are primarily used for document preparation, at least as far as installation, network setup, and some compatibility issues. Specific applications relevant to data analysis and stimulus presentation are supported by groups outside of core computing support.
The Martinos Center has an Acceptable Use Policy for its network and computer facilities. By using these facilities users are responsible for adhering to this policy. Please read and book mark the Acceptable Use Policy.
The computer facilities of the Martinos Center are for the use by Center investigators and their designated students, staff and visitors.
