MISCELLANEOUS CENTER OPERATIONS
Acknowledgements and Logos for Publications and Presentations
All studies that utilize the imaging resources of the Martinos Center benefit from the technology developed by our NCRR-funded P41 Regional Resource, the Center for Functional Neuroimaging Technologies (CFNT) and from support provided by the MIND Institute. The "P41" (CFNT) funds the development of MRI and Optical Imaging hardware (including MR coils and optical imaging devices) and techniques, and data analysis methods and software for MR, MEG and Optical Imaging. NCRR has also contributed to many of the Center's imaging devices and computational facilities through Shared Instrumentation Grants (click here for a listing). This is all provided to you free of charge. The MIND Institute made it possible to bring MEG to the Martinos Center and funds a major portion of both our MEG and Computational Core resources.
If you use the imaging equipment, software or computer systems at the Martinos Center, you benefit from these grants.
Continued funding, and thus our continued development of cutting edge imaging and image analysis resources, depends in part on our successful transfer of the technology developed and supported by these grants to you, the neuroimaging community. We therefore ask that users of the Martinos Center recognize the NCRR (specifically grant P41RR14075), the MIND Institute, and the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging by formal acknowledgement in publications, and by using the logos and templates below in publications, posters and slide presentations resulting from work performed at the Martinos Center.
In addition, if you use any software developed at the Martinos Center in your research, we ask that you include in your publications, references specific to the packages used (for lists of references, click here). Your acknowledgments are monitored by the agencies that support our software development efforts. These citations are crucial to our ability to secure future funding for improvements and development of new packages, and to provide software to the imaging community free of charge.
Author Address
In journal articles and other publications, the "Author Address" of Martinos Center authors should be listed as "Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Department of Radiology, Massachusetts General Hospital, Charlestown, MA 02129".
