Multimodal imaging programs at the Martinos Center integrate complementary technologies to provide a more complete view of human biology and disease. Investigators combine MRI, PET, MEG/EEG, optical methods, and advanced computational modeling to link structure, function, metabolism, and molecular processes within a unified framework. By aligning data across modalities and scales, this work reveals relationships that cannot be captured by any single technique alone, enabling deeper insight into complex systems, more precise disease characterization, and improved monitoring of treatment response.
