AI, Modeling & Computational Methods

Artificial intelligence, modeling & computational methods programs at the Martinos Center integrate advanced AI, machine learning, and computational science to push the boundaries of biomedical imaging. Researchers in this area develop and apply AI-driven approaches that improve how imaging data are acquired, reconstructed, analyzed, and interpreted — for example, creating deep learning-based algorithms for faster, more accurate MRI reconstruction and image registration that can reduce scan times, enhance image quality, and support downstream analyses in neuroscience and clinical research.
